Co-worker: Got any plans for the weekend?
Me: I'm playing Dungeons & Dragons* with some friends.
Co-worker: [laughs]
Me: Um...I wasn't kidding.
* Replace "playing D&D" with "going to Dragon*Con / the comic book store" or pretty much any other geeky (fun!) thing I do in my free time, and the reaction is the same.

It's okay. I did a huge website project on graphic novels for grad school and everyone in my cohort thinks I can fix their computer now.
