To give y'all an idea of how far behind I am in my reading-and-reviewing schedule, here are (in no particular order) the books that I actually read in January:

So...clearly, I am off to a good start re: the YA Reading Challenge (12!), I just need to get off my duff and actually review 'em.

Sigh. On the plus side, a lot of these are challenge books, so the sooner I get them reviewed, the better I'll feel.

I just finished reading The Tale of Despereaux. I thought it's a nice and simply story about a mouse! It's simply one of a kind. Here's my review.

I want to read the Graphic Benjamin Button! I tried to read the free online version but I find that I don't have the patience to sit and read online books. and you've sold me on Enthusiasm. Congrats on a good Jan - now get to those reviews soon!

I have the same problem as you, I read the books, fully planning to review them asap - but then I get sucked into another book :)
I decided to start 2009 with a blank slate, because I was so behind with reviews by the end of 2008. This year I've been doing better, but I think I'll still four books behind! And I need to review some more short stories too.

Care - The BB graphic novel was a gift from a friend who really knows what I like. :) I hope you like Enthusiasm as much as I did!
Joanne - Maybe we should start a "non-reviewing" challenge? :)
Eva - I would do that, but so many of the books I haven't reviewed yet are challenge books, and I want to get them out of the way. My biggest problem, like Joanne said, is that I can't stop reading long enough to write my reviews!
Plus, I remembered another book I read and haven't reviewed: The Willoughbys, by Lois Lowery. I really need to write that review, because I promised it to Chris when I finished!
